I first picked up the guitar when I was 12 years old, basically because my father was too lazy to pick it up himself. My debut was at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London where I found myself sandwiched between punk rock legends Mick Jones (Clash) and Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) playing 'Pretty Vacant' with Dead Men Walking.
In 2007, I became the youngest musician to play the main stage at T In The Park as part of the Skids 30th Anniversary reunion along with performing with the band when they won the Tartan Clef lifetime achievement award. This was most bizarre as they started their career in 1977 and I wasn't born until 1989. Both the 'old man' and myself recorded an album called 'Another Anthem For The Damned' on Track Records in 2010 and we are both involved in the reformed Big Country tours for 2011. Our own band, The Electric Circus, has a few dates on the tour and I am looking forward to playing with Ray, Kenny and Jeff.
